Our school is a two-form entry school and has 60 children in each year group made up of two classes of 30.
Annual Reception Intake from September each year
If you are interested in sending your child to Bowerham School we hold an open day at school each year. Admission arrangements are run by Lancashire County Council and you can find out more about how to apply for a place for your child by clicking on the link below.
Admission arrangements for children part way through the year or after Reception
Here at Bowerham our admission process is very straightforward. In the first instance, you need to contact the school office who will be able to confirm if we have places available in the relevant year groups.
We will take some basic details from you and add your child/ren to our waiting list.
Once a place becomes available for your child, we will contact you to arrange an appointment to look round the school. If you still wish to move, we would then formally offer you a place.
Pupils transferring from another school will be asked to inform their current school of their intention to move, we will then contact them to arrange a transfer date and organise any transfer of records and other information.
For a detailed explanation of how we deal with oversubscriptions and a clear explanation of our admission criteria, please see the LCC policy listed below.
